What is a supplement and why would Faraday submit one?

A supplement is a formal request to your insurance company to add missing or underpaid items to your claim. It’s one of the most important — and most misunderstood — parts of the process.

After the adjuster’s initial estimate, Faraday carefully reviews the scope and compares it to our own inspection and code requirements. If something’s missing — like flashing, underlayment, permit fees, or ventilation — we prepare a supplement backed by photos, code citations, and pricing data.

Most homeowners would never know these items were excluded. But we do — and we make sure you’re paid for every legitimate cost to restore your home properly. Supplements aren’t about “padding” a claim; they’re about ensuring your home is rebuilt to code, not shortcuts.

We handle all communication directly with your adjuster or desk reviewer so you don’t have to get involved. Faraday submits professional, compliant supplements that carriers respect — and we don’t rest until your project is fully funded for the work it requires.

Simply put: supplements are where most contractors drop the ball — and where Faraday excels.
