How does the insurance process work for window damage?

If hail or storm damage breaks or cracks your windows, Faraday manages your claim from start to finish. Most insurance companies will cover damaged glass, bent frames, or dented sashes as part of an exterior claim — but only if properly documented.

We begin with a free inspection and photo documentation using the same criteria adjusters use. Our claims specialists then meet your adjuster on-site to ensure all windows are accounted for. We handle supplements (for missing or underpaid items), code upgrades, and documentation — so you don’t have to deal with the paperwork.

Once approved, Faraday coordinates ordering, installation, and warranty registration. And because we’re Pella-certified, your replacement windows often qualify for an upgrade to higher-efficiency products — with little to no added cost beyond your deductible.

With Faraday, you’re not navigating insurance alone; you have a seasoned partner making sure your home is rebuilt correctly, beautifully, and stress-free.
